Building my new office is in…

I started a new job on Friday. I work in the IT department at Whitman College. So far the job is pretty sweet.

Walla Walla is supposed to be known for their Sweet Onions.  So they have these onion art projects popping up all over town.  Interesting, I suppose.  One of them is an orange disco ball.  I’ll try to grab a pic.

Ok, so my landlord - he’s a character.  Apparently his “rental van” (with all his tools and what not that he uses to take care of his rental properties) broke down at our place.  So…he left it there.  And bought a new one.  I think it’s been there for about 4 days now.  The “Rental Van Watch” continues.  Will it ever leave?  Place your bets…

Also, the church across the street had the stained glass windows all lit up last night.  Looked cool.

Also, my neighbor has a light saber.

And, I just bought this pimpin’ drum thrown.  Like Josh said, “You can play ALL KINDS of places now!”  (By the way, as a gear head AND a total cheap-skate, I’ve been super impressed with Pacific Drums hardware lately.  This throne was WAY cheaper than the Pork Pie it is ripping off, and every bit as huge, sturdy, and comfortable…)

And finally - I got this iPhone app that lets you draw little pictures, then you can save them or shake the iPhone and they’ll go away.  Eat your heart out, etch-a-sketch.  (btw, I am no artist, and now you all have proof)…

So I had the hiccups yesterday and now it hurts to breathe deeply. What the heck? Stupid hiccups.

I just picked up the new WordPress app for iPhone so I can blog from “the road”. This is my little test post…
